CIGRE’s mission is to produce and deliver technical information. This is done through two main means: technical conferences, with papers published and discussed; work of Study Committees and production of technical reports and other documents.
The nature of the various publications and how to

The papers related to Sessions, Symposia or other events are supplied to delegates upon registration. The CD of papers for Sessions and Symposia and the CD of contributions to discussions at Sessions -"Proceedings"- are put on sale after the events.


ELECTRA is a bimonthly journal, reserved for CIGRE members. It provides information on the results or the progress of the technical activities of CIGRE, on the life of the Association and on the events organised.


Technical Brochures and Reports are the result the work of Study Committees.

Over 250 Publications from SCs are listed in the technical library of CIGRE and can be supplied in paper form or downloaded.

Furthermore a comprehensive bibliography of all important documents produced or published by CIGRE is available.
